"These pictures are the only thing to prove that I existed in this world"  - tattoo artist Horiyoshi III

that is oo true about how i view death : without some physical legacy that we leave behind, we will soon be forgotten.

i have to say that their new sound off this album is really weird and it is only now that i am getting into it after all this time.
there are still some songs that i think are a bit too  weird
the first thing my boyfriend said to me when he heard it was that they sounded like they were high on sometghing when they made it.
i agree. but Sweepstakes really has me. i think i like Mos Deff too.

anyways, i do prefer Demon Dayz to this, not that this one is that awefull. just different.
Demon Dayz was just too awesome and really had me.
hope to see a live concert on day instead of just watching it on MTV.

oh well
as YOU would say
"well then well then"

i watched the movie The Wild Thornberry's when it came out years ago and i must say that the theme song for the movie performed by Paul Simon has to be one of the most beautiful songs that i have ever heard. the lyrics are just such tear jerkers

Father and Daughter - Paul Simon

If you ever leap awake
In the mirror of a bad dream
And for a fraction of a second
You can't remember where you are
Just open your window
And follow your memory upstream
To the meadow in the mountain
Where we counted every falling star

I believe the light that shines on you
Will shine on you forever
And though I can't guarantee
There's nothing scary hiding under your bed
I’m gonna stand guard
Like a postcard of a Golden Retriever
And never leave till I leave you
With a sweet dream in your head

to more amazing lyrics, AWAY.... )
