But work got to me. I actually wrote it during the holidays at the beginning of the year.
America’s worst tattoos
Wow. It is amazing how people will go out and get the worst tattoos. Just the idea of the tattoo is bad but they go and get it, thinking that it will be a good. Just tells you how much time they spend thinking about it. And why don’t the tat artists stop them? Money.
I have been thinking of getting one for the past couple of years. I have the design in mind and have been working on it just as long. I am even planning to use part of it as part of the logo of the businesses I hope to be running one day. Still not sure if I am actually going to go through with getting the tattoo though. The biggest fear is not getting an artist that is qualified enough and scarring. Maybe I should just have it painted on canvas instead of skin. Hmmm…
Dracula
Read Dracula, the original version. Must say that at times I didn’t know what on earth was going on because of the style of speaking was too difficult for me to follow. Even when I read it over I still couldn’t understand. For the most part, I think I like the way that it was written, from the view point of the journal entries and letters of the characters. It was different and gave us a view into all of their minds and not just the minds of the mains’ points of view that a story is usually told from. It gave us their personal understanding and expanded on events. I appreciated that.
Reading this made me realize just how creepy my message ringtone for my phone is. It is Illness Illusion by GACKT. Yeah… I am not sure if I should change it…
I also have 80 Days Around the World. I don’t know if I am going to read it since adventures aren’t my thing. We will see though.
I wish I had more books to read. Books that you hold in your hands and not PDFs that is. Too lazy to go search the library. Most of their stuff is romances and other stuff that I don’t like to read. Too much searching is involved in finding books that are up my alley. Not enough fantasy and not enough horrors. Oh well.
Home, sweet home
I just realised that I really love living in my home town. I mean, I have always known that but I just never really appreciated how much. It has been raining since last week of December. We have hardly had a day of blue sky. It has been all shades of grey and rain and even thunder and lightning. The streets are always wet and at night the sky is black making the lights of the city stand out so well. It really is beautiful here. I bet it is a thousand times better in the country. There is nothing like a storm during the day in my home town. There is nothing like seeing sugar cane waving about during a storm in the day. The different shades of grey of the sky and the bright green of the sugar cane… It is all just so beautiful. This is motivation to get a well-paying job one day so that I can buy a kick ass camera.
