BLOODY WORD...

Lyrics to Fuck Me Pumps :
When you walk in the bar,
And you dressed like a star,
Rockin' your F me pumps.

And the men notice you,
With your Gucci bag crew,
Can't tell who he's lookin' to.

Cause you all look the same,
Everyone knows your name,
And that's you whole claim to fame.

Never miss a night,
Cause your dream in life,
Is to be a footballers wife.
You don't like players,
That's what you say-a,
But you really wouldn't mind a millionaire.

You don't like ballers,
They don't do nothing for ya,
But you'd love a rich man six foot two or taller.

You're more than a fan,
Lookin' for a man,
But you end up with one-nights-stands.

He could be your whole life,
If you got past one night,
But that part never goes right.

In the morning you're vexed,
He's onto the next,
And you didn't even get no taste.

Don't be too upset,
If they call you a skank,
Cause like the news everyday you get pressed.

You don't like players,
That's what you say-a,
But you really wouldn't mind a millionaire.

Or them big ballers,
Don't do nothing for ya.
But you'd love a rich man six foot two or taller,

You can't sit down right,
Cause you jeans are too tight,
And your lucky it's ladies night.

With your big empty purse,
Every week it gets worse,
At least your breasts cost more than hers.

So you did Miami,
Cause you got there for free,
But somehow you missed the plane.

You did too much E,
Met somebody,
And spent the night getting caned.

Without girls like you,
There'd be no fun,
We'd go to the club and not see anyone.

Without girls like you,
There's no nightlife,
All those men just go home to their wives.

Don't be mad at me,
Cause you're pushing thirty,
And your old tricks no longer work.

You should have known from the job,
That you always get dumped,
So dust off your fuck me pumps

i watched the movie The Wild Thornberry's when it came out years ago and i must say that the theme song for the movie performed by Paul Simon has to be one of the most beautiful songs that i have ever heard. the lyrics are just such tear jerkers

Father and Daughter - Paul Simon

If you ever leap awake
In the mirror of a bad dream
And for a fraction of a second
You can't remember where you are
Just open your window
And follow your memory upstream
To the meadow in the mountain
Where we counted every falling star

I believe the light that shines on you
Will shine on you forever
And though I can't guarantee
There's nothing scary hiding under your bed
I’m gonna stand guard
Like a postcard of a Golden Retriever
And never leave till I leave you
With a sweet dream in your head

to more amazing lyrics, AWAY.... )

i have to say that their new sound off this album is really weird and it is only now that i am getting into it after all this time.
there are still some songs that i think are a bit too  weird
the first thing my boyfriend said to me when he heard it was that they sounded like they were high on sometghing when they made it.
i agree. but Sweepstakes really has me. i think i like Mos Deff too.

anyways, i do prefer Demon Dayz to this, not that this one is that awefull. just different.
Demon Dayz was just too awesome and really had me.
hope to see a live concert on day instead of just watching it on MTV.

oh well
as YOU would say
"well then well then"

"These pictures are the only thing to prove that I existed in this world"  - tattoo artist Horiyoshi III

that is oo true about how i view death : without some physical legacy that we leave behind, we will soon be forgotten.

i always wndered what dybbuk meant, i mean couldn't even find it in the dictionary

but today while i was on yahoo, i decide to try looking it up on line again

(the last time i tried, the search came up empty aside from G'-man's song. i had given up and decided that he had pulled the word out of his head or something)

well, look at what i found:

In Jewish folklore, a dybbuk is a malicious, or benevolent possessing spirit believed to be the dislocated soul of a dead person.

i wonder how he found the word or is he that all-knowing...

p.s. Oxford needs to update its dictionary

well on another note, i am busy writing an essay that i started yesterday, that is due today
my excuse is that i had two tests to write yesterday so i had to study for those ^^

the struggle continues...^^

something horrible happened to me on a very good day.

just eralier, i had accidently met up with high  school classmate of mine. we hade gone through the whole of school together.
as wew ere catching up, he says to me: did you know that so and so is dead?

 i was soo shocked.
the person who had doied was a friend of mine who went to another campus across town of the same varsity as mine. i had just seen her a few months back.

i had emailed her fefore we went for break and she had not answered me back which i had thought of as very strange.
turns out she had died and everyone knew except me, even though they had my number. i had to hear in passing two weeks after the funeral.

this reminds way tooo much of Gackt and Kami...

last month when i went on holiday to my home town, i went to the super market and saw my grade two teacher there. i was so happy. she had always been one of my favourite teachers. plus, she could actually speak my home language which made her extra cool. but now that i am older, i realize what a big thing that is, that she is white Afrikaner and can speak Zulu. but i will not dwell on that. it will become depressing.

she has gotten soooo old but she is still a make-up addict. she comes from a time when things were so new and exciting for me. i mean, do you remember what it was like when you were in that grade? i distinctly remember hating boys to the core and having only one group of friends and being the teacher's pet (and the competition for that position! we used to fight over who would carry our teacher's things to and from her car). good times....

but what wasn't such a good time was my very first day at school. no one had explained anything to me really, so i was left to discover things on my own.

my very first day at school i got lost.

i did not know where my class was and i had assumed that the class that was first ferom the gate was the one that was fir the grade one students and so i went. when the teacher went through the register and saw that my name was not there. she asked me what my name was and what my grade was. she was a grade three teacher and she had no idea what to do with me. at one point in the morning during reading time, i saw my mother pass outside the class. i waved to her but she did not see me.

before break time though, i was sent to the grade one teachers and finally they got me into the right class. they had been looking for me everywhere!

well

i am now older.....

and as usual, my mother got everyone to call me and sing happy birthday
huh, really
mothers

anyways
as a birthday present to myself, i got me some new technology that i have been wanting for about two years now
i got myself some new headphones from earpollution and what is sooo lovely about them is that the bloodred matches my walkman which is black and the "w" is also bloodred

i killed the original phones in like three months...

i am soooo inlove with them, i took them out of the packaging while i was in the store
my babies are sooo beautiful...soooo beautiful...my preciousssssssssss.....
but because i have soooo much bad luck with headphones, these ones will never ever leave the house unless i know for a fact that i will be in a safe environment

thanks to everyone who wished me!!!

 going online as usual....
there is a post about my other country Thailand.

post says that the fighting there in Bankok has finally stopped (but who knows for how long?)
and i am so relieved

this issue has been depressing me for a long time.

when i came back from there, i remember wondering if i would make it out of the country (i was kinda hoping i wouldn't coz i really wanted to stay some more), all the Yellow shirts were parked at the airport, and that was two years ago

for the violence to have escalated soo much really worries me. i have soo many friends over there at the Bangkok universities

but unfortunately, i do not think that this is something that can be solved quickly
there is just soo much that has gone down in the past adding to this mess that is happening now

hoping and praying that the fighting stops permanently
and that the people can get back to their normal lives

we love Thailand
