the year is done for good now
exam results are out and i am seeing postgrad studies next year, just submitted my forms for the school of politics today, next up is scholarship forms....and they never make the process easy, i swear it is deliberately done to weed people out: those who REALLY want it and those who don't.
holidays also mean that i am going to be away from my precious internet for a good long while and me is sooo saaaaaaad...
going to miss LJ so much...my connection to everything that i love. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO STALK MY FAVES?
anyways, here is a pic of me for Halloween. like i said, we don't celebrate it here but i felt the spirit of needing to do something, so with a bit of babypowder and some eyeliner.....

any ways, here is something interesting...
i was watching (i think) the Food channel and Heston's Feasts was on and he was making a Halloween themed dinner for his guests. there was a lot of cheesy and frankly what i thought to be a bit much and ignorant stuff about it but my favourite bit was the cemetery that he did for dessert. it was actually a chocolater graveyard wher the earth that looked like soil, for real, was made of chocolate and so were the tombstones and the coffins (which had beasts inside which he said were Marquis de Sade inspired, and which i found to dodge for words: what did it have anything to do with sadism? or am i missing something?). but i just thought the soil itself was AMAZING. it was real chocolate but looked soo real. i wanted to eat it too....
have a wedding on tuesday that i will be going to. i managed to get the clothes of my dreams FINALLY!!! these two black shirts and a pair of black pants and i have a black purse to go with. different fabrics come together. looks really good and i have the perfect
jewelry to go with it too. what is shocking is that my mother HATES that i love black so much. i just can't believe that she actually bought it all for me. i hope this a change. i look forward to more black in my life. (she eve said i looked good in it which is highly unusual because she thinks that people with my kind of dark skin should not wear black...)

i think the bag is way past older that i am, used to be my mother's back in the day. she likes to keep stuff and some of it is really good, even comming back into fashion now which i don't like. nothing i hate more than wearing something great and seeing someone on the street wearing the same top or jeans as me.
well that will be all. happy holidays.
